INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-REGULATION IN LEARNING PROFESSIONAL-ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article focuses on the problem of independent learning and self-regulation and their impact on the development of the 21st century skills. The research considers the favourable influence of self-regulated learning on students’ motivation and academic achievements. The study analyses the students’ opinion regarding independence and self-regulation while studying Professional-Oriented Foreign Language.
