INTEGRATED IMMUNOLOGICAL AND METABOLIC MARKERS FOR PROGNOSIS OF OSTEOARTICULAR TUBERCULOSIS
Abstract
Bone destruction in osteoarticular tuberculosis results from combined immune-inflammatory and metabolic disturbances. Altered bone remodeling significantly contributes to disability. Traditional clinical assessment does not adequately reflect underlying metabolic imbalance. Identification of integrated immuno-metabolic markers is crucial for prognosis and therapeutic optimization.
