ORGANIZING EXCURSIONS TO REINFORCE PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS' KNOWLEDGE

Abstract

The article shows how school excursions serve as a teaching method which helps primary school students maintain their acquired knowledge. The study uses literature review to examine theoretical frameworks and organizational guidelines and actual methods used to conduct educational excursions in elementary school settings. The research results show that structured excursions which educational institutions organize lead to better knowledge retention and improved observational skills and better understanding of how theoretical concepts relate to actual world events.
