Abstract

This paper describes the causes and main sources of contamination of agricultural products with harmful substances, hazardous chemical pollutants, and the regulation of their concentration in food products. It also discusses the main approaches to obtaining environmentally safe (organic) agricultural products, as well as the use of modern achievements in biotechnology.
