Упродовж останнього десятиліття в Японії активно розвивається концепція комунікації, що отримала назву ясашії ніхонґо (やさしい日本語 – «легка японська мова»). Цей феномен виник як практична відповідь на демографічні зміни: кількість іноземних резидентів Японії станом на 2025 рік перевищила 3,5 мільйона осіб
