PREVENTION OF RELAPSE OF PERIODONTAL DISEASES IN PATIENTS AFTER ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT

Abstract

Prevention of relapses of periodontal diseases after treatment of malocclusions with fixed orthodontic equipment remains a relevant issue. This especially applies to patients who have signs of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. It is known that disorders that develop alongside this pathology, such as malocclusions, hemodynamic shifts in the microcirculation system and tissue immunity disorders, contribute to the development of inflammatory periodontal diseases.
