APPLICATION OF MODERN TECHNOLOGIES IN WATER RESOURCE PROTECTION IN AZERBAIJAN

PDF

Abstract

The protection of water resources is of strategic importance for environmental security, public water supply, agricultural development, and the sustainability of economic activities. In Azerbaijan, the uneven spatial and seasonal distribution of water resources, dependence on transboundary water flows, pollution risks, and water losses in irrigation and distribution networks necessitate the implementation of more responsive and accurate monitoring tools in water management.
