IDENTIFICATION OF RISK FACTORS LEADING TO MYOPIC NEOVASCULARIZATION IN WOMEN WITH MYOPIC REFRACTION DURING THE POSTPARTUM PERIOD

Abstract

The results reported in the literature regarding the effects of pregnancy and childbirth on the organ of vision are inconsistent and often controversial. Investigation of ocular changes occurring during pregnancy and the
postpartum period, as well as the development of evidence-based conclusions, is of considerable scientific and practical importance for preserving maternal and child health.
