THE USE OF WATER-SOLUBLE C60 FULLERENE TO ACCELERATE RECOVERY OF MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM FUNCTION FOLLOWING MECHANICAL INJURY
Abstract
Traumatic skeletal muscle injury is a complex pathological condition caused by high-energy damage to muscle tissue. Approximately 70% of military casualties involve skeletal muscle injuries, which are often considered among the most devastating types of trauma. Muscle injuries are also common in sports medicine. However, due to differences in the severity of muscle damage, the clinical presentation may range from subclinical manifestations to catastrophic impairment.
