METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING COMPOSITION USING COMPLEMENTARY COLORS THROUGH THE 4K SKILLS FRAMEWORK, THE 5E MODEL, AND INTERACTIVE METHODS

Abstract

This study examines strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of teaching complementary color theory in visual arts education. The 5E constructivist instructional model and the 4K twenty-first-century skills framework were adopted as the theoretical foundations of the research. A mixed-methods research design was employed throughout the study, and the results indicate that students in the experimental group demonstrated significantly higher levels of creative and critical thinking compared to those instructed through conventional methods.
