INFLUENCE OF PROFESSIONAL STAGE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEARING DISORDERS IN MINING INDUSTRY WORKERS

Abstract

In modern mining industry conditions, occupational noise remains one of the most common harmful workplace factors. According to the World Health Organization, noise exposure is one of the leading causes of hearing impairment among workers employed in noisy occupations. Nelson et al. reported that occupational hearing loss constitutes a significant proportion of work-related diseases worldwide.
