IMPROVEMENT OF THE SCREW DESIGN IN ORDER TO PREVENT OVER-PRESSING OF THE MATERIAL IN THE SCREW FEEDER
Abstract
The article proposes a way to improve the design of the screw screw feeder based on the prototype of the auger with grooves on the turns in order to prevent under-pressing of the screw feeder material. The design of an improved auger with geometric dimensions was designed. The proposed design of the auger with a comb structure will contribute to the stable operation of the auger without material jams and more effective cleaning of the feeder body.
