PDF

Abstract

In recent years, the prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) has increased markedly in parallel with the growing incidence of obesity, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome. According to current concepts, not only metabolic disturbances but also alterations in the composition of the gut microbiocenosis play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD.
