PDF

Abstract

The article has conducted a comparative analysis of the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the education system in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. Within the framework of the analysis, the main advantages and limitati ons of the integration of ICT into the educational process have been systematized, the impact of digital technologies on the quality of training, academic achievements of students, the effectiveness of teacher activity and the accessibility of education has been evaluated from a scientific and theoretical perspective. At the same time, the theoretical approaches of scientists, as well as the positions of UNESCO and OECD on modern education policy, have been analyzed in a comparative manner. The study shows that the impact of ICT on the educational process depends not only on its application as a technical tool, but also on its methodologically justified and systematic integration in accordance with pedagogical goals. The article also identifies the impact of factors such as digital inequality, digital competencies of teachers, academic integrity, cybersecurity and technical infrastructure on the effective application of ICT. Ultimately, the success of digital transformation in education depends on modern technologies, as well as professional teacher training, quality digital teaching resources, continuous assessment mechanisms, and the implementation of targeted education policies.
