THE HIERARCHY OF PEDAGOGICAL FORMS OF STEM EDUCATION IN ENSURING CONTINUITY BETWEEN PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY EDUCATION

PDF

Abstract

The modern education system of Ukraine is undergoing profound transformations driven by the consolidation of the competency-based approach, the ideas of child-centeredness, the pedagogy of partnership, and the implementation of the New Ukrainian School concept. Under these conditions, the problem of ensuring continuity between preschool and primary education acquires particular relevance, since a child's transition to school is one of the most important stages of their personal, social, and cognitive develo pment. Traditionally, continuity was understood primarily as the alignment of curricular content and learning outcome requirements. However, in the context of competency-based education, what comes to the fore is not only the continuity of content but also the continuity of modes of cognitive activity, interaction, and the acquisition of personal experience.
