Abstract

Objective: To develop a model for predicting the course of chronic generalized periodontitis and to substantiate a personalized approach to treatment based on the integration of clinical and molecular-genetic factors. Materials and Methods. This study was conducted at a dental clinic and included 186 patients with a verified diagnosis of chronic generalized periodontitis of varying severity and 40 practically healthy individuals in the control group. This study was designed as a prospective, comparative, clinical-genetic study and was conducted from 2022 to 2025 at dental polyclinics in Samarkand and Termez. The study subjects were patients with chronic generalized periodontitis who were undergoing examination and treatment during the specifi ed period. A comprehensive clinical assessment was performed using the PI, PMA, and OHI -S indices, along with measurements of periodontal pocket depth, degree of tooth mobility, and radiographic indicators of bone resorption.
