COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS WITH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS
Abstract
The purpose of the study is a comparative analysis of the biological characteristics and nature of drug addiction in individuals with varying outcomes of addiction treatment. Materials and methods of research. This study was conducted at Samarkand State Medical University. Data reflecting the biological characteristics and nature of drug addiction were studied from 2021-2024 for individuals who had undergone inpatient treatment and outpatient monitoring for opioid group addiction at the Samarkand Regional Branch of the Narcological Service of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Mental Health. Results: A study involving 487 patients aged 21–55 (mean age 38.4±9.2 years) diagnosed with opioid dependence showed the following results regarding the structure of the rehabilitation program. Pharmacotherapeutic component: 65% of patients received opioid substitution therapy (OST).
